Anne’s Obituary An independent and reful, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and homemaker, the former Anne L. Maslowski, passed away at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, in Amherst, New York, at the age of 90. The one-time winner of the Cheektowaga “Apple Pie” baking contest, was envied by many because of her ability to whip up her crusts, pastries, cookies and was best known for her Corned Beef and Cabbage. Anytime that you would stop over to visit, she would speak her infamous line “Ya Gotta Eat” and you ended up having a meal before you could go on your way.

Anne also enjoyed knitting, sewing and being able to fix almost anything that she set her sights on. She was also reminded by many that she was a great role model for her children, by teaching them to grow up as hard workers and willing to help out wherever they could, just as she would. Anne was beloved wife of the late James G. McGuire, who passed away over 30 years ago.

A devoted mother of Karen (Ron) Strozyk, James (Cathy) McGuire, David McGuire, and the late Diane (late Carl) Grasso. Fond grandmother of Sheila, Laula, Carl, JR. , Scott, Brian, Michelle, Jason, and Heather.

She was the dearest sister of Ceil (late Silver) Case, Regina (late Edward) Fuchs, late Ursula (late Edward) Bogdan and the late Joseph Maslowski and was also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will be present for visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem). Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial at Queen of Martyrs Church, located at 180 George Urban Blvd.

, in Cheektowaga, New York 14225 on Wednesday morning at 9 AM. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, in Cheektowaga, New York.
