1951-2018 Anne Marie Horn Anne Marie Horn, 67, of Bangor, passed away peacefully on Friday, Oct. 12, in Easton Hospital with her family by her side. She was the wife of Kurt Horn.

The couple celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary December 2017. Born on June 23, 1951 in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Angelo and Eleanor (Manieri) Platia. She was a graduate of Nazareth High school Class of 1969.

Until recently, Anne Marie worked at the Latch Key program for St. Peter’s Church of Wind Gap, where her kids referred to her as “Momma Horn”. She was loved by all of those who knew her. Anne Marie loved nothing more than being with her family; she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Surviving are her three children: Dan Horn and his wife Cyndi of Northampton, PA, Gretchen Stianche and her husband David of Jim Thorpe, PA, and Tim Horn and his wife Leslie of Nazareth, PA. Also surviving is her sister Angela and her husband Joseph Heatter of PenArgyl, PA, and brothers: Sam Platia and his wife Danielle of Macungie, PA, Lou Platia and his wife Chris of Orefield, PA, and Angelo Platia and his fiancé Jamie of Seaford, Delaware. Additionally, she is survived by seven grandchildren: Brooke Drury and her husband Evan, Grace and Isabella Stianche, Mila and Maci Horn, and Brittany and Katie Price.

Service: Calling hours on Wednesday, October 17 from 9a.m. until 12 noon at the Gaffney Funeral Home, 314 South 1st Street, Bangor, PA with David J Stianche Funeral Home in charge of her arrangements. Contributions in her name may be made to the ASPCA.
