GOAD, Annie Lee- age 91 passed away Sunday January 6th at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Norman & Pearl George Tarpley; husband, James Baxter Goad; brothers, J.D. Tarpley & Don Tarpley; sister, Elizabeth McClellan; great grandson, Ian Tisdale. Survived by son, James Richard Goad; daughters, Joyce (Hobart Jr.) Tisdale, Donna (Jerry M.) Barlow, Brenda McCanless, Debra Edwards, & Angela (Marlon) Holt; brother, Carter (Alice) Tarpley, sister, Alice Butler; loving “Big Momma” to 18 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, & 8 great great grandchildren.

Mrs. Goad was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and a wonderful homemaker & mother. She was formerly employed with Precision Rubber and was an inspector for O-Rings. Annie had a passion for English Walking Pleasure horses and loved riding with the Lebanon Saddle Club.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday January 8th 3-7 p.m. & Wednesday January 9th 10:00 a.m. until funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel. Jerry Barlow will officiate the services. Interment, Wilson Co. Memorial Gardens.
