Obituary for Annie Lee Hood Annie Lee Hood, 89, passed away September 14, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Carthage. Annie was born July 15, 1929 in Carthage to Arthur and Cuma “Wigger” Monroe. Annie was a longtime secretary at Leggett & Platt and a member of Fairview Christian Church.

Annie was united in marriage to Bill Hood; he preceded her in death. Annie is survived by two nephews, Matthew Monroe and Charlie Schwalls. Annie was preceded in death by three brothers, Elmer Latshaw, Art Monroe and Neal Monroe; two sisters, Lille Schwalls and Harriett Tweedy.
