Annie M. Meal, 91, of Ravenna passed away Monday May 27, 2019 at UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna, Ohio. She was born August 28, 1927 in Princeton, WVA to the late Paris S. and Mae T. Jones. Mrs. Neal has lived in Ravenna since 1953 and was a member of the Ravenna Assembly of God Church.

She retired from Euclid Garment Company in Kent where she worked as a seamstress . She had a love for sewing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph on July 8, 2006, her daughter in law Sharon Neal and her siblings Goldie Hatley, Sadie Jones, Rosie Neal, June Bragg and Danny Lee Jones.

Survivors include her children Vicki (Ron) Smith of Ravenna, Don Neal of Stow, Ricky (Renee) Neal of Ravenna, six grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be 5-7 PM Wednesday May 29, 2019 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Thursday May 30, 2019 at the Ravenna Assembly of God Church with Pastor Gary Beck officiating.

Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park Ravenna, Ohio. The family would like to thank Hospice of the Western Reserve for the care of their mother. They would like that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Ravenna Assembly of God Church 6401 St Rt 14 Ravenna, Ohio.
