Benson, NC: Mrs. Annie Ruth Moore Johnson, age 83, of 1834 Mamie Road died Monday, October 15, 2018 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. Funeral Service will be held 11:00AM Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Smyrna Original Free Will Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev.

Richard Whitman. Burial will follow in the Lee-Johnson Family Cemetery, Meadow. Mrs. Johnson was born January 10, 1935 in Johnston County to the late Bert and Lilly Beasley Moore.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, RayVon Johnson; sister, Edna Lee; and brother, Shelton Moore. Mrs. Johnson retired from Fieldcrest, Channel Master, and Sylvania in the textile industry. Survivors includes her sons and daughter-in-law, RayVon Johnson, Jr. of Benson, Gary Glenn Johnson of Benson; Ricky Johnson and wife, Jenny of Benson; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; sister, Jean Stancil of Benson; brothers, Sherrill Moore of Newton Grove and Elton Moore of Dunn; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 6:00PM – 8:00PM Tuesday at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson and other times at the home of Corey and Laura Johnson 1834-D Mamie Road Benson, NC 27504. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Smyrna Original Free Will Baptist Church 11415 NC Hwy 96 South Dunn, NC 28334. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.
