Benson, NC: Mr. William Thomas McLamb, age 78, of Bristol Lane died Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Liberty Commons Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Benson. Funeral Service will be held 3:00PM Friday, October 12, 2018 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Benson. Officiating will be his grandson, Rev.

Mitchell McLamb. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery in Benson. Mr. McLamb was born November 29, 1939 in Harnett County to the late Willis Talton and Maebelle Wilkins McLamb.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Brookie L. Hinson McLamb. Mr. McLamb was a painter and heavy equipment operator. Surviving include his sons and daughters-in-law, Freddie and Sherri McLamb of Roseboro, Thomas McLamb of Benson and fiancée, Tammy Davis of Hope Mills and Michael and Michelle McLamb of Coats; daughter, Barbara McLamb of Garner; grandchildren, Cynthia McLamb, Lenore McLamb, Mitchell McLamb and wife, Mica, Thomas McLamb, Jr. and Dusty McLamb and wife, Amber, Melissa Candler and husband, Jacob; great-grandchildren, Hannah McLamb, Brayden McLamb, Madelyn McLamb, Micaden McLamb, Elias McLamb and James McLamb; sister, Linda Chance of Sedona, Arizona; brothers, James McLamb of Dunn and William E. McLamb of Benson; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 1:30PM – 2:30PM Friday prior to the service at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson and other times at the home of Thomas McLamb, 67 Bristol Lane, Benson, NC 27504. Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to Michael and Michelle McLamb, P. O. Box 1046, Coats, NC 27521.
