He was born in Lee County, NC on February 7, 1947 son of the late Joseph Duncan Harrington, Sr. and Elizabeth “Lizzie” Stewart Harrington. He was the proud owner of Install Incorporated which he founded in 1994. Buddy loved to be with his family.

They were his pride and joy. He was the best Papa to his four grandchildren and even so like a father to some. Every summer, Buddy and his family enjoyed the beach and camping at Kerr Lake where he enjoyed the lake life skiing, tubing, boating, hanging around his pool with family and friends and just being together laughing.

Additionally, Buddy took great pride in giving back to the community through various donations and gifts. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and dog Artica. His humor, dedication, loyalty, and unfaltering ability to care for others will be missed by all who knew him.
