Anthony J. Putvinskas, 75, of Brockton, died March 23, 2019. Born in Brockton, he was the son of the late Anthony and Julia (Pickeles) Putvinskas. Anthony had worked for Somerville Lumber for many years and later retired from Home Depot.

He was an avid reader and enjoyed doing puzzles. Anthony was the beloved father of Scot Putvinskas and his wife Dawn, Kelli King and her husband James, Adam Putvinskas and his wife Shanty, all of Brockton, and Bethany Kurz and her husband Marc of North Dakota; loving grandfather of Amy Putvinskas, Meagan King, Jennifer King, Jordan King, Kaylee Kurz and Caden Kurz; former husband of Laurie Mercurio. All are welcome to calling hours Sunday 12 noon to 2 p.m. in Belcher Chapel at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton.

Private committal at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Old Colony Elder Services, 144 Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301 or your favorite charity.
