Anthony Joseph Matticola, 72, a lifelong resident of Jersey City, Marion Section, and devout parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church has passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018. Anthony was the beloved son of the late Anthony & Rose (nee Tranchetta) Matticola; loving cousin of Barbara Murphy, Jacqueline Aguila, Mary Ann Lopiccola, Cynthia Wirth, Loretta Kosiba, Louis Massa, Adrienne Moore and Jo Lin Jennings; dear friend of Peter Orrico and Ralph Donato.

Also survived by classmates of the first graduating class of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel School, Jersey City. Visitation is on Friday, September 21, 2018, 10:00am to 10:55am at Our Lady of Mt.

Carmel Church, 99 Broadway, Jersey City, NJ 07306. Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
