Angela Spinillo, (nee: Pica), 95 of Jersey City, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, October 24th. Born in Sant’Arsenio, Salerno, Italy, she emigrated to the US in 1967 ultimately settling in downtown Jersey City. Nina was a hardworking, family oriented woman.

While in Italy she traveled to Switzerland to make money for her family, here she worked tirelessly as a seamstress, never missing a beat when it came to working, picking up groceries and preparing a home cooked meal every night, from scratch of course. She loved her Italian heritage and culture, whether for cooking, making wine, the holidays, or going to church and celebrating “feast days”, it was the pride of her life and family. She will be forever remembered for her love and kindness.

She is predeceased by her husband, Carmelo and her siblings; Gino, Angelo & Gennaro. Surviving to cherish her memory are her children; Anthony “Tony” & Frank with his wife, PattiJean Spinillo, her grandchildren; Christian & Frankie and her beloved great-grandson, Luca. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 26th from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Co., (www. RiottoFH.com) 3205 Kennedy Blvd. , Jersey City.

(For GPS use 14 Stagg Street). Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Saturday, October 27th at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 344 Sixth St., Jersey City, NJ.

Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
