Anthony Michael Villebrun Sr., age 55, of White Earth, MN, passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at Essentia Health Hospital in Fargo, ND. Anthony was born on June 2, 1962, the seventh child to Raymond and Beryl (Beaupre) Villebrun, in Minneapolis, MN. He grew up in Minneapolis and moved to White Earth in 1981, where he met the love of his life, Rebecca “Jumbo” Lynn Azure Villebrun.

They married in 1988, and the couple returned to Minneapolis where he attended M.I.T. for automotive tech. While in school he worked for Film Tech in Minneapolis. The couple moved back to White Earth in the summer of 1993, and he took work in building maintenance at the Shooting Star Casino in Mahnomen.

He remarried in 2006 to Courtney Shaide-Villebrun. Anthony enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandchildren: fishing, cooking-out, dancing, watching football, and basketball. He loved making his children happy.

Big Anthony cared for his mother until her passing in 2015. Anthony was always a big brother and uncle to many. He is survived by his children: Tonya Jo Azure of White Earth, William “Billy” Libby Jr. of White Earth, Tony Micheal Villebrun of White Earth, Kristopher Lee Villebrun Sr. of White Earth, Clarissa Rose Villebrun of White Earth, Victoria Villebrun of Waubun, Anthony Michael Villebrun III, Michael Kristopher Villebrun; and two children he raised as his own, Vanessa Hanks of Waubun, and David Arthur Jr. of Fargo, ND; siblings: Gregory Villebrun of Minneapolis, Karre Villebrun of Crookston, Stefi Villebrun of Minneapolis, and Raymond Villebrun Jr. of Twin Valley; nine grandchildren: Aimee, Tierra, Breanna, Jeanette, Cadence, Tayveyah, Kristopher Jr., Benaceio, and Becca Lynn.

Many Family and Friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Beryl; siblings, Darcy Villebrun, Cheri Stoa Villebrun, and Charlie Beaupre. His first wife, Rebecca, and his grandmother, Margaret (Sigadoo) Williams.
