Susanna M. Jackson, 88, Ogema, MN, died Wednesday, May 2 at her home under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, May 8 at St. Columba Episcopal Church in White Earth, MN, Reverend George Ross, officiating. Interment will be in St. Columba Episcopal Cemetery.

Friends may call from 5:00 PM Monday until 9:00 AM Tuesday at the White Earth Community Center and at the church 1 hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Susanna Marie Jackson was born September 12, 1929 in White Earth, MN to William and Martha (Roy) St. Clair. She was raised and educated in White Earth.

Susanna was united in marriage to Frederick Jackson, July 3, 1950 in White Earth. They lived in St. Paul where she worked for a community center. They returned to White Earth in 1980.

Frederick died in 1999. Susanna enjoyed going to the casino, fishing and going for rides to enjoy nature. Survivors include three sons and two daughters: Calvin Jackson of White Earth, Pauline (Ted) Lyons of St Paul, MN, Milton Jackson of White Earth, Terry Jackson of White Earth and Rebecca (Duane) Jackson of White Earth; 20 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two daughters, Sharon and Debra, three grandchildren, two brothers and three sisters.
