Anthony Montesano was born on October 11, 1927 to Jimmy and Cecilia Montesano in New York City, New York. He entered into his final rest on December 8, 2018 in Lakeland, Florida surrounded by his family. Mr. Montesano is preceeded in his homegoing by his wife, Ellen and his daughter in law, Laurie Monetsano.

He is succeded by his two sons, John Montesano (Lakeland) and Raymond Montesano (Barbara) of Mulberry, Florida. Additionally, Anthony had four grandchildren and many greatgrandchildren as well as many neices and nephews. Anthony proudly served his country at the early age of 17 when he enlisted with the United States Navy where he fought in World War II.

Upon his discharge, Anthony joined the fire department in New York City, New York and enjoyed life as a first responder for twenty years. After he retired from the fire department, he moved to Florida where he owned and operated a Limosine Company in Palm Beach, Florida. Eventually, Anthony setteled in Lakeland, Florida where he lived his best life with his grandchildren, spent time bowling, golfing and watching the Tampa Bay Rays play baseball.

Anthony is described by many who know him as a hard worker and a family man. When Anthony was not working, he could be found in the company of his family. Anthony will certainly be missed by all who knew him.
