Antoinette’s Obituary Antoinette D. Putnal, 98, of Pensacola died November 11, 2018. Mrs. Putnal was born September 10, 1920 in Herkimer, N.Y. Mrs. Putnal worked for Independent Life Insurance Co. for 3 years and later was employed by the Osceola County School System, Kissimmee, FL for 18 years.

There she was in charge of Teacher’s Certification and Inservice Program. Mrs. Putnal volunteered at Homestead Village for a period of 3 years and Escambia Christian School from 1998 to 2008. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting, music, stage shows and theater and sewing.

Mrs. Putnal was a member of the Pace Church of Christ. She taught Sunday School to children from Pre-K to 6th grade for 30 years. Her main passion was helping others whenever and where possible.

Mrs. Putnal was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton R. Putnal (1998) in Tallahassee, FL and her mother, Giovanna Antoina Piccus Dettori, Roslyn L.I. New York. Survivors include a son, Ronald Putnal (wife Nancy) Pensacola, FL, grandchildren Jason Putnal (wife Holly Murfreesboro, TN and Carrie Putnal Chalchi (husband Manuel) Pensacola, FL, great grandchildren, Kylie, Autumn and Ella Putnal Murfreesboro, TN and Joshua, Logan, Jude and Cierra Chalchi Pensacola, FL and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 19, 2018 at 11AM at the Pace Church of Christ with Brother David West, minister, officiating.

Burial will be November 20, 2018 at Barrrancas National Cemetery with family only. Visitation will be Monday 9:30 till service time at the church. Active pallbearers will be Ron Putnal, Jason Putnal, Manuel Chalchi, Joshua Chalchi, Logan Chalchi and Brian Dotlich.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Frank Buchanan, Dr. Ray Buchanan, Jim George, Kyle Julian, Rafael Salinas, Paul Saffran, Frank Thomann and Jim Williams. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pace Church of Christ building fund at 4075 Berryhill Rd. , Pace, FL 32571.
