McAllen, Texas Antonia D. Garcia,88, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 17, 2019 surrounded by her family in McAllen. Antonia was born on July 5, 1930 in Mexico to Natividad and Bernarda (Villarreal) Diaz. Antonia was a life long resident of McAllen.

Antonia is survived by her children; Jesus (Elma) Garcia, Sergio (Yolanda) Garcia, Rene (Sylvia( Garcia, Santos (Oneida) Garcia, Maria Elena (Gustavo) Arevalo, Teresa Torres, Elvia Flores, 26 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Friday, January 18, 2019 at Rivera Funeral Home from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a prayer talk set for 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 8:00 AM at the Rivera Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Cemetery in Mission. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Rivera Funeral Home in McAllen.
