OBITUARY Pedro Mares Ortega June 26, 1943 – January 9, 2019 Play Tribute Movie Pedro Mares Ortega, 75, passed away January 9, 2019 in McAllen, TX. He was born in Dolores, Hidalgo, Mexico on June 26, 1943 to Marcelino Mares and Albina Ortega. He is preceded in death by his wife, Margarita Mares and his parents Marcelino & Albina.

Pedro is survived by his children, Pedro (Rose) Mares Jr., Gustavo (Nancy) Mares, Jose G. (Raquel) Hernandez, Juan Alfredo (Laura) Hernandez, Judith Hernandez; grandchildren, PJay, Jonathan, Nicholas, Nathanial, Jazmin, Zamantha, Christian, Brandon, Cynthia, Myriam, Vanessa, Joe, Eddie, Julissa; great grandchildren, Damian, Sophia, James, Janina, Jeremiah; and numerous extended family and friends. Visitation will take place Friday, January 11, 2019 from 2:00 pm – 9:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Chapel of Serenity with a rosary at 7pm. Funeral Mass will take place Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 12:00 pm at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church, 621 W Main Ave, Alton, TX 78573.

Burial to follow at Valley Memorial Gardens. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Funeraria Del Angel, 3611 Taylor Rd, Mission, TX 78573.
