OBITUARY Blasita R. Garza March 17, 1917 – January 1, 2019 Blasita Rodriguez Garza at the age of 101 years departed to her heavenly home on January 1, 2019 at home surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of Felipe and Severiana Rodriguez born on March 17, 1917 in McAllen, Texas. She was the widow of Jose S. Garza.

She is survived by her sisters: Maria del Socorro Morin, Sara Losoya, Siria R. Alaniz; by her children Celia (Javier) Porras, Elisa (Claudio) Perez, Jose(Rosa) Garza Jr., Oscar(Frances) Garza, Hector (+Albesa) Garza, Rogelio Garza, Gilberto Garza, Rosalinda G. (+Margarito)Vela and Eduardo(+Liz) Garza. She is preceded in death by her sons: Eleazar Garza, Rodolfo(Mary Alice) Garza, Americo Garza and daughter Consuelo Quintanilla. She is also preceded in death by her two brothers Juan Rodriguez and Felipe Rodriguez Jr

She was blessed with having 24 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. The family of Blasita R. Garza invite all to her celebration of life with a visitation starting today, January 2, 2019 at Funeraria Del Angel, Chapel of Serenity in Mission from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm. Funeral service will be held Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Funeraria Del Angel at 9:00 am.

Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery. FAMILY She is survived by her sisters: Maria del Socorro Morin, Sara Losoya, Siria R. Alaniz; by her children Celia (Javier) Porras, Elisa (Claudio) Perez, Jose(Rosa) Garza Jr., Oscar(Frances) Garza, Hector (+Albesa) Garza, Rogelio Garza, Gilberto Garza, Rosalinda G. (+Margarito)Vela and Eduardo(+Liz) Garza. She was blessed with having 24 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
