Mission – Eloy G. Morin, 67, entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 18, 2019 at his residence in Mission. He was born on Monday, October 22, 1951 in Valadeces, Tamaulipas, Mexico, the son of Jeronimo and Elva (Garza) Morin. He was a resident of Mission for most of his life.

Eloy enjoyed traveling, especially where there were slot machines. He loved to BBQ and cook with family and friends. He enjoyed baseball and watching his favorite team the Houston Astros.

Eloy truly enjoyed life to its fullest. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife: Belinda C. Morin. Left to cherish his memory are three sons: Eloy Morin, Jr., George Morin and Eric Morin; one daughter: Jackie Lynn Morin; three brothers: Severiano (Rosie) Morin; Jeronimo (Dorothy†) Morin and Adrian (Jovita) Morin; seven grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm Thursday, February 21, 2019 with a prayer of the Holy Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home, LLC, 1813 N. Conway Ave. , Mission. Celebration of Life Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, February 22, 2019 at Our Lady Of St. John Of The Fields 1052 Washington St., Mission.

Interment will follow at Santa Fe Celestial Garden Cemetery, 5050 3 Mile Line Rd. , Mission. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home, LLC of Mission.
