Mission – Lino Guzman Rodriguez, 80, passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at his residence in Mission. He was born on Saturday, August 13, 1938 in Jimenez, Tamaulipas, Mexico, the son of Salvador and Leonarda (Rodriguez) Guzman. He enjoyed planting trees of all kinds on his one acre ranch.

He had lemon, orange and grapefruit trees along with papaya, mango, avocado and encinos. He enjoyed listening to music, especially corridos. He is preceded in death by his parents; all his siblings and a son: Enrique Guzman.

He is survived by his wife: Juana Maria Guzman; his children: Salvador Guzman, Diana Guzman, Sebastian Guzman, Ramon Guzman and Lino Guzman, Jr.; 11 grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm Tuesday, February 12, 2019 with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home, LLC of Mission. Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Rivera Funeral Home, LLC of Mission.

Interment will follow at San Jose Cemetery in Mission. Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home, LLC of Mission. www.
