Mission – Jose Roel Perez, 73, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Mission Valley Nursing & Transitional Care in Mission, Texas. He was born in Piedras, Tamaulipas, Mexico on December 9, 1945 to Jose Luis Perez and Juana Guerra. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Rita Perez and his children, Melissa Ochoa and Jose Roel Perez Jr

He is also survived by his brothers and sisters; Jose Guadalupe Perez, Rosario Perez, Janie Gonzalez, Exiquio Guerra Jr., Juan Antonio Guerra and his grandchildren, Pete Ochoa IV, Mathew Ochoa, Jose Roel Perez III, Yasmin Perez and Odesi Serrato. Family will be receiving friends and family on Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm at Virgil Wilson Memorial Chapel in Mission, Texas. Funeral Mass will be officiated Friday, January 25, 2019 at 10 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission, Texas.
