Obituary of Archie Mack Archie L. Mack, 75, of Catlin passed away on September 13, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Born on June 2, 1943, he served in the United States Army from 1962 through 1965. He was a member of the Odessa Fire Department in the 70’s and was employed by LP Transportation for 30 years.

Archie was a meticulous woodworker, loved fishing, enjoyed NASCAR, talking shop and drinking coffee with the guys. He was predeceased by his mother and father, Frances and Archie Mack, brother, Merle (Butch) Gardner and sister, Marjean Stratton. Archie is survived by his devoted partner of 24 years, Lois M. Jenkins of the Town of Catlin; daughter Michelle Derr (Kenny) of Corning and son Heath Mack (Jamee) of Alpine, sisters Joeann Comitz, Annette Jordan, Ronnie Henshaw, and Ruth Rumsey; 3 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and also his beloved dog Xena.

Archie was a devoted father, and will be dearly missed by all that knew him. In honoring Archie’s wishes there will be no services. Contributions may be made in his memory to the Humane Society of Schuyler County.
