Arlene McGinnis, 88, of Falls City, NE, passed away March 16, 2019 at Falls City. She was born April 6, 1930 at Falls City to Ted and Wilma (Brown) Wing. She married Keith Jahn in 1948 and they were later divorced, then married Paul Pavogel in 1961 and were later divorced, then married Gene McGinnis on July 19, 1968 at Falls City.

He passed away December 17, 2001. Arlene was raised at Falls City and attended Falls City High School. She worked various jobs in Falls City and moved to California in 1961 and returned in 1966.

Her passion was children’s ministry, puppetry and creating puppets. She performed until moving into Falls City Care Center in 2017. She was a member of Church of the Nazarene at Falls City Arlene is survived by her daughters, Sue Watson of Falls City, Lynn Davis of Rainbow City, AL, son, Marty Jahn and his wife Grace of Verdon, NE, brothers, Ted Wing of Shreveport, LA, Jack Wing and his wife Pattie of Roseville, CA, Ronald Wing and his wife Kay of Raytown, MO, sisters, Barbara Hahn and her husband Roger Wichita, KS, Judy Bauman of Raleigh, NC, nine grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Robert and Buck Wing, sister, Shirley Hermann and a daughter, Wilma Jean Jahn. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Steven Floyd officiating. Interment will be in Steele Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 7-8:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
