Arleva Fellowes, 83 of Wisconsin Rapids passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2018 at home in the presence of loving family at her bedside. She was born to James and Canzada ( nee’ Burgess) Reese on September 25, 1934 in Crossville, Tennesee. She married George Fellowes in Hinsdale, Illinois in 1957.

Arleva was a consummate “Word Search” finder and a master puzzler. Arleva was an active member of the Wisconsin Rapids Seventh-Day Adventist church where she enjoyed the fellowship of the members and was well regarded an respected for her knowledge of the Bible and biblical insight. Arleva was one of the first persons you met upon entering the WR SDA church as a greeter.

Arleva’s welcoming smile and bubbling personality was the perfect introduction into the House of the Lord. As the Matriarch of the church, Arleva was present and participated in most church events, both formal and secular. Arleva is preceded in death by her husband George Fellowes, Son Rodger Fellowes and Grandson Lance Henery Lecher.

Arleva is survived by her three children Cynthia Fellowes, Wisconsin Rapids and George (Kathi) Fellowes, Wisconsin Rapids and Liew (Deanne) Fellowes, Port Edwards and Gladys (Dan) Hale, Crossville, TN. And 8 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren. Visitation will be held at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 611 24th St. N. Wisconsin Rapids on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 from 3 p.m. until time of service at 5 p.m. Services will be officiated by Pastor Joseph Pericellia John J. Buettgen Funeral Home is assisting family at this time.
