Arthur E. “Spike” Jackson of Palmyra, died January 11, 2019. He was born April 1, 1923 in Dearborn, MI the son of Frederick and Ethyl (Moore) Jackson. On January 13, 1947, he married Vivian May Phillips in Blissfield, MI and she preceded him in death in 2004.

Spike was a World War II veteran serving in the United States Army Air Corps. He was the owner and operator of Spike’s Auction, Tecumseh. Spike is survived by his children; Inez (Eldon) Clingaman, Nina (Stanley) Beckey, Thomas L. Jackson, and Michael (Dee) Jackson; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren; and two brothers, Charles A. Jackson and Richard E. Jackson.

In addition to his wife Vivian, he was preceded in death by his son, David Byrd, and brother, Fred. H. Jackson. Graveside services will be held at a later date.
