Patrick, SC Mr. Arthur Neil Perdue, age 80, entered into rest on Wednesday, February 6, 2019. Funeral Services will be 12:00 PM Saturday, February 9, 2019 from the chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Rev. Jeff Williams with burial to follow in the Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will greet friends Saturday from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Perdue was born May 6, 1938 in Chesterfield County, SC a son of the late Joseph Frank and Mattie Oakley Perdue. He was a retired machine operator at Roller Bearing in Hartsville, SC and also worked at Delta Mills.

Arthur attended Brown Springs Baptist Church and was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and loved working with his champion squirrel dogs. In addition to his parents, Mr. Perdue was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Mrs. Alicia “Alice” Barefoot Perdue, brothers, J.D. Perdue and Woodrow F. Perdue, and a sister, Mary Elizabeth P. Howle.

Survivors include his brother of the heart, Leopold Wilkes, and his wife, Bonnie; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home of Chesterfield, SC (www. mrcfuneralhome.com) is serving the Perdue family.
