Patrick, SC Mrs. Doris Polson Quick, age 91, entered into rest on Monday, March 11, 2019. Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Thursday, March 14, 2019 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Pastor Chad Watson with burial to follow in the Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens. Music will be provided by Caden, Cara, and Tristan Watson.

The family will greet friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM Thursday, prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Quick was born October 7, 1927 in Chesterfield County, SC a daughter of the late Leon D. and Mary Irene Johnson Polson. She and her husband, the late Edgar Tillman “E.T.” Quick, owned and operated Quick’s Grocery and Quick’s Family Restaurant for many years.

A member of St. John Freewill Baptist Church, Doris enjoyed attending Pine View Baptist Church, and was a revered prayer warrior. She enjoyed crocheting, working puzzles, cooking, and working with her flowers. In addition to her parents and husband, Doris was also preceded in death by her brothers, Freddie, James, Howard, Wesley, and Raymond Polson; sisters, Geneva Short, Carnell Wilkerson, and Aline Phillips; and beloved son-in-law, Jimmy Lisenby.

Survivors her children, Floyd “Tony” Tillman Quick of Patrick, SC, and Rev. Johnny (Betty Sue) Quick of Society Hill, SC, and Janice Dianne Quick Lisenby of Patrick, SC; grandchildren, Bill (Rhonda) Stokes, John (Christy) Stokes, Cheryl (Rev. Chad) Watson, Bryan Quick, Chris (Debbie) Quick, Little Johnny (Jane) Quick, and Sierra (Jeremy) Broach; great grandchildren, Bo (Erica) Stokes, Johnathan (Kaylee) Stokes, Christian Stokes, Madison Stokes, Sydney Stokes, Harley Stokes, Caden Watson, Cara Watson, Caleb Quick, Jansen Stokes, Christopher Quick, Hannah Quick, Hailey Quick, Hadley Quick, Hayden Quick, Haven Quick, Teal Broach, Presleigh Broach, and Kayley Quick; great-great grandchildren, Sophia, Jimmy, John Ranerson, Alania, Emma, and Jaxson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
