Pageland, SC Ms. Lucy Sutton Petty, age 84, entered into rest on Monday, March 25, 2019 at her home. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 27, 2019 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder by Brent Taylor. The family will greet friends from 10:00 – 11:00 AM Wednesday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Ms. Petty was born September 14, 1934 in Eufaula, AL a daughter of the late Jessie and Gerdie Grantham Sutton. She was a retired textile employee and enjoyed reading and cooking. Her favorite pastime was time spent with family.

In addition to her parents, Lucy was also preceded in death by 2 great – great grandchildren, Noah Jayce Sullivan and Kaleb Izayah Blakeney; sister, Jewell Parson; brother, Ernest Sutton; and sister-in-law, Barbara Sutton. Survivors include her children, Larry (Scarlett) German, and Glenda Brown both of Pageland, SC; grandchildren, Sharon (Andy) McManus of Pageland, SC, Misty Lynn German of Utah, Rodney Smothers, Crystal Brown, Amanda (Prince) Kennedy, and Kimberly Brown all of Pageland, SC; great grandchildren, Amber, Ashli, Autumn, A.C., Kaci (Zack), Ryan, Destiny, Sierra, Isaiah, Damien, Darius, Cameron, Aaliyah, Aubrey, Christopher, Madison, and Zoe; 7 great-great grandchildren; brothers, Mike (Sandy) Sutton of Ruby, SC, and Jessie E. Sutton of Jefferson, SC; numerous nieces and nephews, and special family friend, Jermaine Lilly. Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
