Obituary for Arthur Short Sr. Short Sr., Arthur 1938 – 2018 Arthur Short Sr. passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018 in Columbus, Ohio at the age of 79. Born in 1938 in Louisa, KY. He was a 12- year veteran of the U.S. Army serving two tours in Vietnam earning a Bronze Star.

Arthur retired from the Columbus Show Case Co. after 23 years in 1998. Arthur was a family man who loved the outdoors, specifically fishing, hunting, and camping. Preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Ida Short, brothers Ronnie, Larry and Gene, sister Diana, son-in-law Fred Marklevitz.

Survived by wife of 56 years, Lois; daughters, Christina Marklevitz and Terri (Gordon) Breault; sons, Arthur (Kim) Short Jr. and Thomas (Tammy) Short; grandsons, Tyler, Ryan, Kyle and Brayden; granddaughters, Katie, Jessica, Madison, Jordan and Cassidy; great granddaughter, Violet; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends between 3-7 pm on Monday, July 2 at the O. R. WOODYARD CO. CHAPEL, 1346 S. High Street St., Columbus, Ohio 43207.
