Obituary for Arylene Wanty Arylene Jane Wanty, age 81, of Waupaca passed away peacefully at her home on June 12th, 2018. Arylene was born in New London, Wisconsin on July 5, 1936, to Fred and Helen (Taubel) Bellile. She married Richard J. Wanty on September 10, 1955 at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New London.

Arylene was a stay-at-home mother, taking care of her 7 children and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. If she wasn’t doting on a grandchild you could find her in the kitchen putting all her love into something delicious. She also somehow found the time to hold part-time jobs through-out the years at Bowlby’s, Woody’s Cheese factory, The Oakwood, and cleaning a local dental office.

Arylene was also a devoted member of the St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church and volunteered whenever possible. Arylene is survived by her children, Cheryl (Mike) Knutson of Berlin, WI, Rhonda Rice, Julie (Steve) Delfosse, Mike (Angie) Wanty, all of Waupaca, WI, Becky Morgan of Scandinavia, WI, Jane (Bryan) Avery, and Tim Wanty, all of Waupaca, WI; grandchildren Michelle (friend Todd) Knutson, Melissa Knutson, Tyler (Brandi) Knutson, Gregg Rice, Scott (friend Peggy) Rice, Joe Rice, Josh (Tracy) Rice, Jessica (friend Michael) Rice, Alysia (Josh) Dillenberg, Steve (Sarah) Delfosse, Elizabeth Delfosse, Taylor Wanty, Clay (Lexie) Wanty, Bailey Wanty, Jeremy Morgan, Steve Morgan, Lindsey (Travis) Heckens, Ashton Avery, Connor Avery, Gabrielle Avery, Brandon Wanty, Kadin Wanty, Makiya Wanty. Arylene is also survived by 21 great grandchildren, sisters Kay Brush of Waupaca, WI and Sharon Werdin of Berlin, WI, brother Fred (Mary) Bellile of New London, WI sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Shirley (David) Strange of Appleton, WI, Mary (Paul) Frazer of Bowie, MD, Helen Wanty, Violet Wanty, and Andrea Wanty, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, relatives, and good friends.

Arylene was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Helen, in-laws Alfred and Edna Wanty, grandson Tristan Knutson, sister Donna Southard, brothers-in-law, Gordie Werdin, Pat Brush, Leor “Bud” Wanty, Lloyd Wanty, Raymond “Ray” Wanty, William “Bill” Wanty, twins Joseph and David Wanty, Donald Peskie, Louie Pryse; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Peskie, Marge Pryse, Phyllis Stiebs, and Bev Wanty. A Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Waupaca, WI. Father Amalraj Roche will preside.

A visitation will be held on Saturday morning from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at the church. Burial will take place at a later date at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Cemetery in Waupaca. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Arylene Wanty please visit our Sympathy Store.
