Audrey Faye Heard February 17, 1936 – May 03, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Audrey Faye Heard, 83, of McComb, MS. , passed away on May 3, 2019 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS after a ten year battle with cancer. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 7, 2019 from 10:00 until services at 11:00 AM at Hartman-Jones Funeral Home of McComb.

Rev. Ed Sudduth will officiate and burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery. Faye was born on February 17, 1936 in Phoenix, MS (Yazoo County).

She was the daughter of Willie Chester Heard and Amanda Verona Howell Heard. Her family moved to Oil City, MS in 1941 and later to McComb. She graduated from McComb High School and her last employment was with Dr. Aycock.

Faye was a longtime member of First Baptist Church McComb. She is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Miriam (Davis) Watts and Barbara Patterson. She is survived by her brother, Ray Heard (Frankie Ruth) of Bolton, MS; a niece Debbie (Robert) Battle; her nephews, Dayle (Monti) Watts, Steven (Lisa) Heard, Michael (Kate) Heard, Todd Patterson, Gregory Keith Patterson along with numerous great nieces and nephews and numerous great great nieces and nephews.
