OBITUARY Audrey Palmer January 24, 1929 – November 18, 2018 Audrey L. Palmer, 89, of Attalla passed away to be with the Lord Sunday, November 18, 2018. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at 11:30 A.M. at Morgan Funeral Chapel with Pastor Sammy O’Dell and Donnie Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Rainbow Memorial Gardens.

Ms. Palmer was a long time member of Siberton Baptist Church. She was retired after many years from Etowah High School lunchroom. Audrey enjoyed working in the garden and taking care of her flowers.

She loved her church as long as she was able to attend. She was preceded in death by her husband, WD Palmer; parents, Grace Milam and Otis Milam; brothers, Aaron Milam, and Tommy Milam; sisters, Melba Palmer, Evelyn George, and Flora Caudle. She is survived by her daughter, Kay Dugger; son, Kenneth (Joyce) Palmer; three grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and one on the way in December.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Dugger, Noah Medders, Jerry Tinsley, Kelley Milam, Jackie Milam, David Milam, Dennis Milam, and Randall Palmer. Special thanks to Comfort Care Hospice and Jerry Tinsley, Gina Shultz, Donna Rowland, and the staff of Oak Landing Assisted Living for letting her sing all the songs she wanted to sing at breakfast and for letting her eat all the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches she wanted. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Siberton Baptist Church building fund.

Visitation will be held prior to the service on Wednesday from 10:00 – 10:30 for family and 10:30 – 11:30 for friends at Morgan Funeral Chapel.
