OBITUARY Lena Mae Townsend February 14, 1936 – December 20, 2018 Mrs. Lena Mae Townsend, age 82 of Walnut Grove, Alabama peacefully passed from this life to be with the Lord on December 20, 2018 while at Baptist Beaches Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida. Her funeral service will be held at Morgan Funeral Chapel (Attalla) on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home on Saturday from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. prior to the service. Graveside service and interment will follow at Pineview FCM Church Cemetery.

Morgan Funeral Chapel & Crematory directing. Lena was born February 14, 1936 and was a homemaker for most of her life. She lovingly cared for her husband and children and will be dearly missed by the many who knew and loved her.

Mrs. Townsend leaves behind; Sons, Michael Kimbrough, Forney D. Townsend, Jr., Danny R. Townsend (wife, Kelli). Daughters; Scharline Davenport (Phillip), Anita Danser (Dave), Cynthia Sprayberry (Rev. Danny).

Along with a thirteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and a host of extended family and friends. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Forney D. Townsend, Jr., Jonathan Townsend, Timothy Kimbrough, Joshua Sprayberry, Chris Sprayberry, Dakota Townsend, Connor Townsend, and Richard Bruce.
