OBITUARY Judy Horton November 4, 1951 – December 3, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Judy Sharon Horton (Alverson), born November 4, 1951 of Attalla, Alabama went home to be with family, Monday, December 3, 2018. Judy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was loved by anyone who knew her.

She loved to fish, yard sale, and working in her yard gardening. She painted ceramics for years and sold them at trade day. Judy was well known for her collection of ceramic chickens and her ability to cook the best chicken n dressing, among other things.

Her smile and BIG heart will truly be missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Ruie Alverson; brother, JL Alverson; sisters, Robie Hilderbrand, and Bertha Nail; niece, Lausona Dellinger; nephews, Lavann Hilderbrand, and Jackie Nail. Judy is survived by her husband, James M. Horton; sons, Michael (Renee) Horton and Shane (Loretta) Horton; grandchildren, Katelyn, Cheyenne, and James D. Horton; sister, Liz (James) Allred; nieces, Tony (Larry) Brewer and Kelly (Kevin) Woods, Marquetta (Bob) Heptinstall, and Tiki Bowan; nephews, James B. Nail, Billy Allred, Lewayne Hilderbrand, and Lamar Alverson; along with many other special friends and family.

Pallbearers will be Cody Allred, Devin Brewer, Jacob Woods, Kevin Woods, Lamar Alverson, and James Bryon Nail. Honorary pallbearer will be Darren Bailey. Special thanks to Dr. Reiland and Alacare Hospice for all your care.

Funeral Service will be held at 2p.m. Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Morgan Funeral Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Bailey officiating. The family will accept friends for visitation Wednesday evening December 5, 2018 from 6 until 8p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel.
