OBITUARY Annie Sue Plemons October 1, 1932 – January 13, 2019 Mrs. Annie Sue (Stewart) Plemons, age 86 of Attalla joined her Lord in Heaven on January 13, 2019. The family will receive friends for visitation from 5 to 7 P.M. on Tuesday evening at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Attalla. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 12 Noon.

Graveside Service and interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery, Boaz. Rev. James O. Wallace and Rev.

Scottie Tarvin officiating. Pallbearers will be; Patrick Phillips, Micah Fincher, Tim Myer, Brent Boggs, Brad Oliver, Chris Oliver, and Butch French. Shane Wright and Ronnie Knight will be honorary pallbearers.

Mrs. Plemons was a lifelong resident of Etowah county and resided for most of her life in the Rockledge community. She was of the Baptist faith and a longtime member of Central Baptist Church in Rockledge. Mrs. Plemons was preceded in death by her husband of almost fifty years, Ralph J. Plemons; parents, Arthur D. and Georgia Stewart; brother, Archie D. Stewart; sisters, Ruth Turner and Patricia Coffey; nephews, Stanley and Sammy Turner.

A devoted wife, mother, and friend, she leaves behind to cherish many wonderful memories; Daughter, Deborah Jenkins of Boaz. Son, R.J. Plemons, Jr. (Kathy Bowen) of Attalla. Two granddaughters- Amy Phillips (Patrick) of Boaz and Heather Fincher (Micah) of Kennesaw, GA.

Two great-granddaughters, Anna Clare and Julia Catherine Phillips- both who brought her great joy in her final years. Along with a host of nieces and nephews, especially Shane Turner, who never missed a visit in her final days. Heartfelt thanks to special friends, Alice Green and Betty Kirby.

The family would also like to thank Dr. John Eagan, Cardiovascular Associates, Birmingham, AL, and the doctors and staff of Gadsden Regional Medical Center ICU for their wonderful and considerate care in her last days.
