OBITUARY Nellie Lorene Fanchier February 11, 1918 – January 11, 2019 Lorene Fanchier, age 100 of Altoona, Alabama, departed this life on January 11, 2019. Funeral Services will be held at 1p.m. Monday, January 14, 2019 at Morgan Funeral Chapel with Bro. Chad Robertson officiating.

Burial to follow at Howelton Cemetery. Mrs. Fanchier loved her Lord. She was a member of Aurora Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Fanchier; parents, James and Cora McClung; brother, Hoyt McClung; and sister, Eunice Hathcock. She is survived by her sons, James Ray Fanchier (Nellie) and Charles Fanchier (Helen); her daughters, Willadean Scott and Tressa Beck (Kenneth), 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 19 great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Brad Beck, Sam Smith, Steven Franks, Adam Self, Eric Self, Alan Scott, Nathan Scott, and Charlie Scott.

Special thanks to Gayle Beck and Desti Parks her sitters, along with Holly Smith, Bridget Wise, Jenna, and all the staff at Alacare. Visitation will be held at Morgan Funeral Chapel on Sunday, January 13, 2019 evening from 6-8pm.
