OBITUARY Michael Posey January 26, 1961 – January 7, 2019 Michael Posey, 57 of Rainbow City passed away January 7, 2019. Funeral Service will be held at 11a.m. Thursday, January 10, 2019 with Rev. Gerald Taylor officiating.

Visitation will be prior to the service from 9a.m. until 11a.m. Burial will be Forrest Cemetery. Michael was a loving father, grandfather, and son. He loved his family, grandkids, traveling, and his motorcycle friends.

He was retired from Alabama Power Company. He was preceded in death by his father, Marion Posey. Survived by his mother, JoAnn Posey; sister, Jan (Richard) Joslyn; daughter, Meagan (Cody) Winningham; grandson, Michael Ryan Winningham; granddaughters, Leanne Winningham and Mercy Winningham; former spouse and friend, Cindy Bowlin Posey; and nephew, Rhys William.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Rainbow City First Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Cody Winningham, Richard Joslyn, Jim Driskill, and Rhys Williams.
