OBITUARY Margie Roberts March 23, 1930 – January 6, 2019 Mrs. Margie Leona Roberts, age 88 peacefully passed away at home on the evening of January 6, 2019. The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday evening at Morgan Funeral Chapel from 6 to 8 P.M. Funeral Service will be held Thursday at 1 P.M. at the funeral home. Rev.

Jimmy Bailey officiating. Interment will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery. Morgan Funeral Chapel & Crematory directing.

Margie was born and raised in DeKalb county Alabama to the late James H. and Delia Kerby, and at the time of her passing was the last surviving child of the original Kerby family. Mrs. Roberts spent most of her adult life living and working in Etowah County- having retired from EMCO after many years of service. Those preceding her in death include; her husband, Devers C. Roberts; Son, Charles C. Roberts; four brothers- Dolphus, Ira, James and Roy Kerby; sisters, Eula Boggs, Josie Scott, Octavia Payton and Dorothy Sparks.

Mrs. Roberts leaves behind; Son, Bobby Roberts. Grandson, Jonathan (Heather) Roberts of Summerville, GA Granddaughter, Cindy Roberts (Kevin Brain) of Attalla Great-grandchildren, Jordan, Ryan, Carly and Julian. Along with a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family wishes to extend many thanks to the staff of Kindred Hospice, as well as to Barbara Hope and Linda Chadwick for all of their help.
