OBITUARY Gloria “Glo” Gail (Bearden) Hunsucker March 30, 1938 – January 25, 2019 Gloria Gail Bearden Hunsucker “Glo” passed away January 25, 2019. Funeral Service will be held at 11a.m. Monday, January 28, 2019 at Morgan Funeral Chapel with Rev. Steve Lucy officiating.

Special speakers Mary Gilliland and Danny Bowlin. Burial will be at Rainbow Memorial Gardens. Gloria was born March 30, 1938 in Steele, Alabama.

She was a graduate of Etowah High School, class of 1955. Gloria was a member of Steele Baptist Church for 69 years and worked at several banks in Attalla and Gadsden, the last one being Alabama City Bank. For many years she worked in the poultry industry raising chickens for Tyson.

Gloria was a people person and an accomplished seamstress. She loved to crochet and made many baby afghans and trim for hand towels for gifts. She loved to travel and shop and enjoyed serving as a St. Clair County election worker for several years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Floyd Bearden, and Mildred Inez Bearden. She is survived by her daughter, Missy Hunsucker Beason; son, Stan Hunsucker; brother, Charles (Jane) Bearden; grandchildren, Keith Beason, Haley Beason, Hollie (Justin) Guffey; great grandchildren, Owen and Colin Beason, Lane, Carter, and Toby Guffey; former spouse and good friend, Andy Hunsucker; chosen sister, Mary Gilliland; and many nieces, nephews, and good friends. Pallbearers will be Charlie Hunsucker, David Countryman, Danny Bowlin, Bill Smith, Javin Bowlin, Denny Wilcox, Wayne Wood, and Mark Bearden.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Lee Gilliland and Raymond Grady. Special thanks to Gadsden Regional Hospital ICU Units, Cherokee Village Staff, and Compassus Hospice. Visitation will be Sunday, January 27, 2019 from 6 until 8p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel.
