OBITUARY Audrey Parrish August 6, 1935 – September 5, 2018 Audrey Fay Parrish, 83, passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at her home in Kokomo. Audrey was born on August 6, 1935 in Osaka, Virginia to the late Henderson and Jeanie (Thompson) Smith. On April 3, 1957, Audrey was married to the love of her life, James Parrish in Virginia, and he survives.

They moved to Chicago and lived there for 36 years. During their time in Chicago, Audrey worked for Boye Needle Company. When she and James retired, they moved to Kokomo, and Audrey worked at the deli counter at Meijer for ten years.

Audrey enjoyed keeping herself occupied with work. She also enjoyed cooking and relaxing outdoors underneath a shade tree. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

In addition to her husband, Audrey is survived by her son, Michael Parrish; grandson, James M. Parrish; great-grandchildren, Aidan Parrish and Addison Parrish; sisters, Nadine Maness and Joyce Purvis; and a brother, Jack Smith. There will be a private service for Audrey at a later date. Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home is handling Audrey’s arrangements.
