Audrey Rupracht July 01, 1924 – February 08, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card It is with great sadness that the family of Audrey Elizabeth Liese Rupracht announces her passing on February 8, 2019. Audrey was born on July 1, 1924 in Vershire, Vermont, to Howard and Bessie Liese. She married Robert Milton Rupracht, Sr. on September 13, 1945.

Audrey and Robert raised three children, Robert, Jr., Rebecca, and Bonita. Robert and Audrey owned and operated a funeral home in Hawthorne, Nevada before moving to Yerington. She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca (Rupracht) Proffitt, her sister, June Castro, two granddaughters, Rachel (Proffitt) Bauman and Sarah (Proffitt) Peterson and her four great grandchildren, Greyson & Ella Bauman and John & Jacob Peterson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters (Dorothy & Harriett), her husband, her son (Robert, Jr.), her daughter (Bonita) and her grandson (Randall). She enjoyed social outings, playing Mexican Train dominoes, doing puzzles, and playing the piano and singing. She was a devoted member of her SDA church.

Audrey loved spending time with her family – always ready with a story or a treat, and was adored by all who met her. Her smile was contagious and she was a true joy to be around. Her presence, her loving spirit and her subtle and admiral strength will be greatly missed.

Honoring her wishes, there will be no service; she will be in interred next to her husband in Lodi, California. In lieu of flowers please donate to Make-A-Wish foundation or your favorite charity. Family and friends are invited to sign her online guest book at www.
