Obituary of Augustine M Scutti Augustine “Gus” Mario Scutti, age 93, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2018. Born April 4, 1925, he resided in Woodbridge, NJ, with his parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Gus was a World War II Veteran of the Army, serving in the Philippines.

He married his wife, Jeanette, of 58 years and raised their two children, Joseph and Maria, in Lodi NJ, before moving to Newfield, NJ. He worked for Sheildalloy Corporation in Newfield for 12 years before retiring. He volunteered at St. Rose of Lima Church as a lector and bingo caller, and also was a very active member of the Newfield Pool.

He is survived by his wife Jeanette M. Scutti of Newfield, NJ, son: Joseph M. Scutti of Austin, TX, daughter and son-in-law: Maria (Scutti) and Scott Goldinger of Yardley, PA, granddaughter: Kathryn Goldinger of Yardley, PA. He is predeceased by his grandson, Joshua Goldinger, his parents and siblings. A church visitation will be held on Friday June 15, 2018 from 9:45-10:45AM followed by the Funeral Liturgy at 11AM.

, in St Rose of Lima Church, Catawba Ave, Newfield, NJ. He will be laid to rest Saturday at St. Nicholas Cemetery in Lodi, NJ, at 12:00PM. Donations in Gus’s memory can be made to Josh’s Squad House, 505 Brookbend Ct.
