Obituary of Maria Santana Maria Santana was born on September 27th, 1954 to the late Natividad Tirado and Nicolas Rodriguez. She gained her wings on June 29th, 2018. Maria was born in Sea Isle City, NJ and she attended Woodbine School System.

A lot of her early years were spent in Cape May County but as she got older Cumberland County is where she settled down. Maria was a free spirit who lived her life as she pleased. Maria’s vibrant attitude allowed her to be able to grab the attention of an entire room and connect with everyone.

In her free time, she enjoyed going to church, dancing to her favorite songs, and making everyone laugh and smile. Maria was a proud mother of 8 children, Maria Lopez (Fransico), Anibal Lopez (Luz), Rafael Lopez (Agnes), Edwin Santana (Krystal), Maryjo Rivera (Benito), Louis Mendez III (Brandy), Giselle Villafuerte (Jake) and her late son Jesus Fernandez, who she joined in heaven. She is also survived by two special nephews, Oscar (Monica), Jose (Jenice) and loving niece Iris (Barry).

She leaves to cherish in her memory 26 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 4 sisters, 4 brothers and a host of family and friends. All will miss her tremendously but will keep her memory alive. Family and friends will be received on Friday evening from 6pm to 9pm with a funeral service at 8:30pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave.
