John Austin Ashley, III – July 22, 1976 to September 3, 2018. John Austin Ashley, III, known to us as “Lil Austin” passed away due to diabetic complications on September 3, 2018, in Tampa, Florida and will be greatly missed. Anyone who knew Austin knows that he had a huge heart and if he had your heart in mind, you had a loving, supportive friend forever.

Austin’s smile and hugs were some of the biggest, greatest gifts a loved one or friend could ask for. His outgoing persona and love for life made him a joy to be around. He faced his diabetic condition as an army would face their enemy – no fear.

He loved play time with his daughter Avery, motorcycles, home cooked meals, golf, football (college and NFL) and fishing. Survivors are, Daughter, Avery Ashley, Father, Austin Ashley, II, and siblings, Anthony Ashley, Brian Ashley and Pamela Ashley, among many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; pre-deceased by his Mother, Dorothy Ashley and sibling, Tim Ashley. The funeral will take place at Haught Funeral Home 708 W. Dr. M.L.K. Jr. Blvd, Plant City FL on Saturday, September 8th, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. (receiving family and friends at 10:00 a.m.) Grave site will be at 1:00 p.m. at Garden of Memories, Tampa, Florida.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested for childhood diabetes. Online condolences may be left for the family at www. haught.
