Obituary for Austin Joseph Goryl Austin Joseph Goryl, age 19, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2018. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan on March 4, 1999 and attended Fruitport Schools. Austin enjoyed playing basketball, boxing, and excelled at football.

He enjoyed writing and performing music, especially rap, and was a talented artist. Austin had been employed by K&L Industries and attended St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. He is survived by his mom and step-dad, Jolene and Louie Jasick; father, Bill Dove; sister, Amber (Lee Dulinski) Goryl; step-brother, Derek Umlor; niece, Avaya; grandparents, Joseph Goryl, Lou and Darlene Jasick, Diane Dove; special friend and mentor, Jessica Holmes; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arlene Goryl and Bill Dove, Sr. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 3:00 PM Thursday, September 13, 2018 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100. VISITATION will be one hour prior to his service. In honor of Austin’s love of the University of Michigan, please wear maize and blue to his service.
