Obituary for Avery Ross “Joe” Morgan Avery Ross “Joe” Morgan, 74, of Hamlin, WV passed away September 1,2018. He was a retired coalminer from Eastern Coal Company. He was a member of the UMWA He was preceded om death by his parents, Wilson and Sarah (Marcum) Morgan.

He is survived by his wife, Mabel Morgan; sons, Buddy Morgan of Culloden, WV, Avery Morgan Jr. of Ohio and Joe Allen Morgan of Virginia; one daughter, Angie Capps of Florida; and six grandchildren. Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 4th. at Handley Funeral Home in Danville.
