Obituary for Tommy G. “Tom” Bunting Tommy G. (Tom) Bunting, 79, of Charleston, passed away October 11, 2018 at Hubbard Hospice House after a short illness. He was a teacher and a retired principal of Kanawha County for over 40 years. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Morris Harvey College and went on to earn his Master of Arts from West Virginia University.

He was preceded in death by his mother Pearl Bunting; and brothers Jack and James (Bill) Bunting. He is survived by his loving sisters, Clara P. Carroll of Bob White, Alice Price and Linda Duty of Madison. Also, he is survived by his lifelong best friend, Frank D. Kinder of 50 plus years; and many nieces and nephews and a host of countless friends and wonderful neighbors.

Over the years he enjoyed traveling and in recent years sitting on the porch with neighbors, friends and family. He will be laid to rest October 15th at Graceland Cemetery. Per Toms request there will be no service.
