Aviana Gabrielle Butler, aged 6 months old, passed away in her mother’s arms at U.T medical center in Knoxville, TN on January 22 2019, after struggling with BPD (Chronic Lung Disease) she passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus. Gabby is the daughter of Renee Butler of Oliver Springs, TN and Mark Fowler of Oakridge, TN. She is a miracle.

Gabby was born on July 3, 2018 at U.T Medical Hospital in Knoxville, TN. She weighed 10oz and was 9 1/3 inches long. She is the smallest baby to be born and survive in TN.

During her brief visit on Earth she enjoyed being held by her mother, listening to lullibies, watching her ocean projector, being read too, head rubs from momma and kisses too. She enjoyed giggles and loves from her Nana and pepaw, squeezing people’s fingers, making momma smile, sweet whispers from papaw, nose and forehead rubs from Nana Sunny and she enjoyed receiving love from her favorite nurses Bonnie, Lauren and Kelly. Gabby was and will always be an inspiration to those who met her and heard her story.

She will be greatly missed by all. Gabby is survived by her parents Renee Butler and Mark Fowler; Big sisters Saniyah, Vanity, Envee, Kyra-Len Fowler; Paternal Grandparent, Alma Fowler; Maternal Grandparents, Randy and Faith Phillips , Erica Lowe; Special Grandparent, Sunny Brown; Maternal Great-Grandfather, Eugene Philips; Aunt’s and Uncles on Mark’s side, Eugene Burum, Desmond Freeman; Great Aunt, Deania Burum; Aunt and Uncle on Renee’s side, Brittany Phillips, Christian Phillips, Kayne Lowe; Special Cousins, Bryson Phillips, Laikyn Steelman, Kendal Elam; and an abundance of family and friends. Gabby is proceeded in death by her Big Brother, Noah Parker, Big Sisters, Lucy -Jane and Ella Butler; Maternal Great-Grandmother, Becky Phillips; Maternal Great Great Grandmother, Gladys Phillips; Paternal Great-Grandfather Eugene Fowler; Maternal Aunt, Branaeleah Phillips.

The Family would like to thank the NICU staff of U.T Medical Center for taking excellent care of Gabby Butler. They all were a big part of Gabby’s life and was loved by Gabby and the family so much. please include time and place of service Visitation with the family will be from 12-1pm January 25, 2019 in the chapel of Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home.
