OBITUARY Baldemar L. Munguia December 14, 1926 – September 19, 2018 Baldemar L. Munguia passed away on September 19, 2018 at the age of 91. He was born in Raymondville, Texas to the late Crisoforo Sr. and Juanita L. Munguia. He will be dearly missed.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Baldemar will always be remembered for his faith and his love for the Lord Jesus Christ. He enjoyed cooking for his children and grandchildren.

He retired from the City of Corpus Christi (Waste Water Dept. ) after 30 years of service. Baldemar was the last of his five brothers and two sisters; he joins them in the Kingdom of Heaven with his beloved parents.

He leaves his loving memories to his wife of 68 years, Argentina Munguia; his children, Gloria M. Valadez, Baldemar Munguia Jr. (Janie), Janie M. Cantu, Rogelio Munguia (Rosa), Dora M. Gonzalez (George), Samuel Munguia, Peter Munguia (Janie), Norma M. Luna (Charles), Martha M. Chavez (Johnny), Oscar Munguia (Denise), Richard Munguia; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and a host of family and friends. Family will receive friends at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with an evening service to be held at 7:00 p.m. that same evening Funeral Service will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with entombment to follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery. His daughter, Pastor Dora Gonzalez will officiate all services.
