Barbara A. (Taylor) Zetty, 70, of Avon, Indiana, peacefully passed away on October 17, 2018. Barbara was born in Allock, KY on September 25, 1948, a daughter of the late Irene (Johnson) and Willie Taylor. Barbara was proceeded in death by her loving husband, Robert Zetty and her son, Michael Zetty.

Survivors include her son, Robert (Melissa) Zetty; daughters, Barbara (Thomas) Kamin and Donna (Edward) Kern; sisters, Brenda, Vicki, and Loretta; brother, Tom; grandchildren, Gaelan, Jacob,Tyler, Olivia, Camden, Zachary, and Joshua. Barbara was a retired bus driver for the Bloomfield Hills School District in Michigan. She was a prolific reader and it was a rare site to see her without a book in her hand.

She loved going to church and spending time with friends and family, playing cards and often hosted family reunions with her late husband in Kentucky. Barbara was a lover of all animals and would take in any stray that showed up on her doorstep. She loved nothing more than to spend time with her grandchildren.

Her generous spirit has made a lasting impression on all who knew her. Burial will be at a later date in Kentucky. Memorial contributions in Barbara’s name may be given to a local animal shelter of your choice.
